OLLIE THE OCTOPUS
CROCHET PATTERN to download (FR and ENG)
This is not a finished product but the DIGITAL FILE in PDF format containing the instructions for making this cute plush toy yourself.
LEVEL : EASY with basic crochet knowledge and knowing how to work in a spiral starting in a magic circle. (Preferably make twisted stitches)
OLLie is a very fun rattle octopus, with big, intense eyes, long, elegant tentacles and a soft jingle that will delight both children and parents.
In this pattern, 2 versions are offered to you:
- a version made with super bulky chenille yarn (6)
- and a smaller version, made with DK (3) or sport (2) weight cotton yarn, ideal for making key rings among other things.
These 2 models are easy to make, it will only take you 2.5 to 3 hours (maybe 4 hours) of work to make each version.
- I include several photos to help you in your creation.
- Ollie is wearing a pretty flower on his head but I'm showing an option to turn this flower into a pretty star.
- You will also see different ways of looking.
- And in the appendix, different ways to make the tentacles.
I also include several links to my video tutorials to help you perform certain techniques.

DK cotton yarn (3) or sport (2)
- 1 hook 3.5mm (E)
- 1 6mm hook (J)
- 1 rattle insert (optional)
- 1 pair of 25mm safety eyes (optional)
